25 Mexican warriors will fight to become the best team in Latin American
A total of 25 Mexican pilots is the objective established by the Mexican federation for Viña del Mar 2018. Luis Otero, great friend of Chile and one of the main characters in Latin-American enduro, is the person in charge to achieve this ambitious objective.
“Chile did a great job on the organization of the 2007 ISDE in La Serena. I am sure they will surprise us again with a high quality event. My country Mexico, which maintains a pleasant and comforting sports rivalry with the host nation, will be present, providing everything necessary to make it a success. We hope to arrive in Viña with 20 or 25 pilots, supported by José Luis Rubio and Octavio Valle”.
Luis Otero is a member of the Enduro Commission of the Mexican Motorcycling Federation. He was the Race Director of the Six Days of La Serena and organizer of the ISDE in Morelia 2010, among other relevant positions.
Mexico participates since 1978 in the ISDE, winning twice the Watling Trophy (for being the country with the best enduristic development). In Brive La Gaillarde their Juniors achieved the 7th place in the standings, with Eric Yorba, Didier Goirand and Nayib Chavolla. In the Trophy, Arturo Rodríguez and Alvaro Miller stood out for their participation.
We wait for you in Viña del Mar!
